You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Absence Management Specialist focused on configuring and optimizing Oracle Absence Management Cloud for enterprise-wide leave tracking and accrual policies. You will be responsible for implementing leave plans resolving calculation issues and ensuring seamless integration with Oracle HCM Cloud payroll systems and third-party platforms. You will have deep knowledge of absence management workflows accrual logic and the technical capabilities of Oracle Cloud HCM. This role requires independent execution effective collaboration and strong documentation skills to support system stability and compliance.
WORKSITE: Remote (Los Angeles CA)
WORK SCHEDULE: Standard business hours (Pacific Time) 6-month engagement with potential extension
PAY RATE: $80/hour to $88/hour

WHAT YOULL DO:
Configure and support Oracle Absence Management Cloud modules including the setup of leave plans accrual policies carryover rules eligibility profiles and calendar configurations
Collaborate with HR payroll and IT teams to analyze business requirements and design end-to-end absence management solutions that comply with organizational policy and labor regulations
Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Absence Management Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party platforms such as payroll providers and attendance systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to leave balances retroactive accruals approval workflows and integration sync errors
Conduct thorough testing of configuration changes and updates to ensure data accuracy and rule integrity across time periods and employee groups
Document solution architecture system configuration and standard operating procedures to support long-term sustainability and team knowledge
WHAT YOULL BRING:
4 years of direct experience implementing and supporting Oracle Absence Management Cloud including configuration of accrual rules eligibility profiles and absence elements
Strong understanding of leave and time-off policies including regulatory requirements union agreements and cross-border considerations
Proven ability to design and maintain integrations with Oracle HCM Cloud and external payroll/HR systems using tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or REST APIs
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a track record of resolving system calculation issues approval errors and data integrity challenges
Ability to work independently prioritize deliverables and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong documentation and presentation skills to support internal teams audits and future enhancements
