Travel requirements:
Canton GA Monday Tuesday and every other Friday
Cumming GA Wednesday Thursday and every other Friday

Bariatric Innovations specializes in providinggeneral surgeryandbariatric surgeryto the residents of Atlanta and the surrounding areas. Our expertise coversgastric band surgeryfor weight loss as well as
comprehensivemedical weight loss programsincorporating calorie control activity and lifestyle education.

Responsibilities
Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s) clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
Qualifications
- High school diploma equivalent education (GED) or postsecondary education.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
PREFERRED
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military medic course.
- One 1 year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
- Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.
