Job Summary: The Project Manager (PM) for a contractor plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful of contract construction projects from commencement (contract award) through final completion. The PM is responsible for the overall coordination implementation control and completion of specific multiple projects ensuring consistency with company strategy commitments and goals. The PM is responsible and accountable for the overall success or failure of the project.
Key Performance Objectives
Manage all activities leading to the successful timely and safe completion of each project.
Manage the overall scheduling of each project assigned; working with the project team to ensure project(s) are completed on time and all deadlines are met.
Communicate with all departments to ensure project efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure transparency reporting and sharing of information effectively across all departments.
Manage job cost reporting for all projects and monthly billing; including invoicing and pay applications.
Promotes continuous improvement and contributes to companywide policies standards and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a liaison to prospective and current clients or 3rd party owners. Act as the first point of contact for addressing all project management concerns; including contracts Change Orders RFIs Submittals etc.
Manage the startup and of all project documents; including but not limited to budget bid proposal(s) scope(s) of work schedule of values contracts change orders RFIs submittals and closeout documents.
Create and maintain master schedule for project n in conjunction with the Director of Production including individual project schedules. Provide biweekly updates to the President and project team.
