Are you an expert in commercial insurance with advanced technical skills Are you passionate about mentoring and sharing your knowledge with Small Business Advisors in Commercial Insurance Do you excel in leading by example problemsolving planning and employing both critical and creative thinking

As a Director Small Business Solutions you will lead a team of Business Advisors in several AB offices providing leadership and oversight in connection with sales and service processes across the region. You will assist in representing Westland Insurance Group Ltd. to the AB insurance markets and implement and support Westlands key initiatives and goals.

  • Minimum 5 years in Commercial Insurance Account Management and Sales experience
  • 35 years of leadership experience is preferable
  • Level 2 General Insurance License and willingness to get Level 3
  • Bonus! One of the CAIB CIP FCIP and CRM designations

Once here youll:

  • Have an inexhaustible curiosity to stay at the forefront of the insurance industry
  • Lead a team of commercial lines Business Advisors providing oversight driving performance and ensuring adherence to growth processes
  • Work with the business advisors to support client retention and deliver necessary account services
  • Partner with the marketing team to ensure highquality submissions to markets
  • Work closely with our industry partners to deliver the best insurance solutions for our clients
  • Engage with clients prospects and insurance partners to support Business Advisors in delivering exceptional service
  • Set individual goals provide consistent performance coaching and feedback and identify and develop internal talent for future commercial segment roles
  • Leverage software and applications to manage and convert leads
  • Travel as necessary
