Job Description
A worldclass solar company is seeking the services of a Solar Design Engineer.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize solar energy systems for residential commercial and industrial projects.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with sales project management and installation teams to deliver highquality solar solutions.
- Assess site conditions and create customized solar designs that maximize efficiency and return on investment.
- Provide technical support during project implementation and troubleshooting.
- Stay uptodate with the latest trends and technological advancements in the solar energy sector.
- Prepare detailed reports technical documentation and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Renewable Energy or a related field.
- Proven experience in solar system design including PV (photovoltaic) systems and energy storage solutions.
- Proficiency in solar design software (e.g. PVsyst Helioscope AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of electrical codes system integration and grid connection requirements.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
