Job Description:
This is a sales focused role on consultative directtoconsumer sales in the EdTech space. Key responsibilities
revolve around counselling potential learners guiding them in their career paths and closing sales related to
online/blended learning programs. The role involves handling highticket sales nurturing relationships with
leads and achieving weekly revenue and enrolment targets.
What will you be doing
Act as a mentor providing career advice to potential learners.
Counsel potential learners helping them plan their career path and understanding how upGrad can
catalyse their career.
Establishing the uniqueness and effectiveness of upGrads model of online/blended learning.
Meet enrolment and revenue targets weekly.
Own the complete sales closing life cycle for leads assigned. This includes making phone/video calls
product demonstration sales closing and postsales relationship management.
Track all interactions using CRM software and provide feedback on lead quality to the marketing team.
What are we looking for
Sales Experience: Proven success in consultative B2C sales especially in a competitive environment.
Communication: Excellent English skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal abilities.
Sales Skills: Ability to build urgency empathize with learners and close highvalue sales.
Experience in EdTech: Preferred but not mandatory.
Technological Proficiency: Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite.
What are your deliverables / KPIs
Minimum 200 dials per day with 40 successful connections.
Average 2 hours of talk time daily including 2 counselling session.
1 video interview
Minimum of 4 enrolled students per week.
