The RISC team charter is to protect Amazon customers from products that are illegal illegally marketed unsafe or otherwise prohibited by Amazon policies. In this role you will work closely with corporate counsel legal business teams selling partner experience and support teams operational excellence product BI and data science/engineering teams to deliver highimpact end to end compliance solutions. Think of this role as a nontechnical solution architect where you will be given the autonomy to develop a strategy and build effective controls to ensure product compliance in Amazons US marketplace.
The Senior Risk Manager supports new tools and programs supporting the stores global compliance efforts. This person will influence behavior plan projects with legal/business partners and inspire crossfunctional team commitments complying with Amazon quality standards and maintaining restricted products operations compliance.
The Senior Risk Manager will maintain daily weekly and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems. This person will ensure compliance with all corporate compliance program expectations and applicable federal and state law. This person will conduct risk assessments related to existing processes and new product assortment. This person will also recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to corporate compliance including process change and training considerations.

4 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience handling confidential information
3 years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials
Experience with SQL and Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
