Job Description
The Nurse Director Surgical Services is accountable and responsible for clinical operations of Surgical Services (OR/PACU) on a 24hour basis. She/he is responsible to coordinate daytoday clinical operations working collaboratively with all departments and disciplines. The NurseDirector is responsible to work collaboratively with the Patient Care Director to assess and systematically improve nursing processes and activities. TheNurse Directoris accountable to work under the direction of the Patient Care Director on performance improvement initiatives that maintain standards of nursing practice. She/he is accountable to the Administrative Director Patient Care Director and Medical Director to achieve all Surgical Services programmatic goals standards and strategic plans.
Requires a Minimum of 3 years experience in an acute care hospital. Clinical background in surgical services. Managerial and leadership experience is required. Strong OR management experience strongly preferred.
MA RN licensure required.
