Salary: 27400 per annum

Location:Dundee Angus

Contract/Hours:1 year fixed termfull time 37 hours

The Women and Family Safety Service supports women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse.

WAFSS is a Dundee and Angus wide service and we work closely with our partners in the Violence against Women Partnerships.

WAFSS is funded by the Scottish Government and we have been fortunate to secure further funding until

We currently have a part time practitioner and look to employ another full time 37hrs) Family Support Practitioner.

The post does involving travelling throughout Dundee and Angus to support women in their own homes so the post holder must have a driving licence and access to a car.

The post is open to women only.

How youll help to create brighter futures

• Undertaking risk assessments and developing safety plans.
• Being family and childcentred
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies
• Identifying the needs of families and responding to them

Lets talk about you

• HNC in Social Care or equivalent
• SVQ Level 3
• Experience of working directly with children and families either individually or in a group setting
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
• The ability to maintain written records to a high standard
• Driving licence and car essential
