The Opportunity
The Dexus Growth Markets team oversees portfolios in Infrastructure Health and Alternative real assets including Trading and relevant legal entities. Their infrastructure portfolio is one of Australias largest in social infrastructure PPP assets. The team focuses on investments that provide longterm positive impacts in sectors such as Health Energy Entertainment Education and Student Accommodation.
As an Accountant within Growth Markets you will be responsible to deliver financial accounting and reporting related services across the infrastructure portfolio (including applicable legal entities) working in partnership with the Growth Markets Finance team Infrastructure Asset Management team and other external partners.
You will make an impact by:
Cashflow and Liquidity Management: managing accounts payable and receivable treasury operations bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
Financial and Management Accounting: Preparing financial and management reports balance sheet reconciliations annual budgets and ensure debt covenant compliance.
Financial Reporting (Statutory): Preparing statutory financial statements support audit processes and present deliverables to stakeholders.
Tax Compliance and Reporting: Managing tax calculations GST lodgements tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Business Partnering and Continuous Improvement: Providing valueadded services to stakeholders drive process improvements and contribute to a positive team environment.
About You
Minimum 2 years experience in management/financial accounting CA/CPA qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications.
Proficient in financial/management accounting with strong technical and analytical skills.
Experience with Xero Yardi TM1 Power BI is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
Preferred experience in corporate environments infrastructure/concession assets and/or property industries.
Resultsdriven detailoriented excellent communication skills effective time management continuous improvement mindset flexible and able to manage risks and business expectations.
