Job Description

Our client is a leading infrastructure development company in Africa.

Job Summary

The Commercial & Growth Manager is a strategic role charged with delivering an exceptional end-to-end guest experience optimizing day-to-day operations and driving revenue growth through partnershipsevents and community engagement. The Commercial & Growth Manager will marry operational excellence with forward looking business development to hit aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Strategy & Partnerships: Develop and execute revenue-generating initiatives corporate programs event sponsorship and hospitality packages. Negotiate and nurture partnerships with local businesses hotels and corporate clients.
  • Sales & Marketing Leadership: Craft go-to-market plans and promotional campaigns (digital social on-site activation) to drive bay bookings and F&B spend. Oversee facility bookings and themed events to boost off-peak utilization.
  • Data Analytics Oversight: Analyses performance metrics bay utilization average revenue per guest customer acquisition cost and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Operations to ensure staffing inventory and facility readiness support commercial goals. Implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction. Act as primary escalation point for major guest issues ensuring rapid resolution and follow-up.
  • Team Development: Mentor the team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement and instilling a commercial mindset. Set clear targets and KPIs conduct regular performance reviews and drive continuous learning.
  • Market Intelligence & Expansion: Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends; identify new revenue streams (e.g. retail merchandise membership tiers).



Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field.
  • 8 years in a commercial leadership role within hospitality leisure-entertainment or venue management.
  • Proven track record of achieving aggressive revenue and market share targets.
  • Strong negotiation networking and contract-management skills.
  • Data analytic acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership
