Job Summary:
Under general supervision and according to well define policies and procedures interviews patients and/or patients representatives to obtain necessary personal demographic and financial information. Performs computer data entry and other record keeping tasks related to the patients preregistration. Exhibits Service Excellence Standards at all times and incorporates into all interactions.

Job Essentials:
- A minimum of one year of healthcare clerical experience preferred.
- Ability to interface with patients and handle confidential information.
- Knowledge of various insurance information needed to complete accurate and timely preregistrations.
- Assurethat scheduled patients have preauthorization for their treatment when applicable.
- Verifyinsurance eligibility on all scheduled patients during the preregistration process
