Position Description
The School of Journalism & New Media anticipates filling some parttime/timelimited teaching positions at the adjunct faculty level for theacademic year in the following areas: Video Storytelling Advertising Public Relations Integrated Marketing Communications Sports Journalism and Writing for Communications Fields.
Description:
Provide instruction for designated course(s). Develop assignments create assessments and actively support student learning. Write and proctor examinations. Provide feedback and instruction for examinations and assignments. Calculate and post midterm and final grades. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for teaching an undergraduate course: masters degree in field. Minimum requirements for teaching graduate course: doctorate in field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree and one year of college teaching experience preferred.
