Senior Software Engineer
Location: Seattle or Canada
Contract: Full time
Workstation: Remote/Hybrid

Youre comfortable working across the stackone day youre debugging a tricky SQL query the next youre tweaking a Kubernetes deployment in AWS. You know when to optimize for performance and when to optimize for maintainability. Your Next Challenge:
- Build and maintain applications written in Ruby on Rails React and Typescript
- A mindset for automation scalability and reliability
- The ability to see the big picturehow everything fits together Pragmatismyou know when to go deep and when to move fast
- A love for clean maintainable code and a wellstructured system
- Maintain existing infrastructure in AWS through Terraform
- Work with Kubernetes to manage and scale our applications
- Own the endtoend lifecycle of featuresfrom design to deployment
- Optimize performance where it matters and refactor where it makes sense
- Identify and reduce technical debt before it becomes a problem
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our processes and systems
What Youll Need
- 5 years experience in any of the following TypeScript Ruby on Rails React
- 3 years handson experience with AWS services and infrastructure
- A demonstrated deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- A mindset for automation scalability and reliability
- The ability to see the big picturehow everything fits together
- Pragmatismyou know when to go deep and when to move fast
- A love for clean maintainable code and a wellstructured system
$103500 $149000 a year
The starting salary range for this position at the time of posting is USD $103500 to USD $149000 per annum. Getty Images has different ranges in different locations within the US and this range represents the starting base pay range. Actual compensation will depend on factors including but not limited to: qualifications geographic location skills experience certification business needs performance and level of responsibility along with the requirements of the position. The company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any point in the future.
