Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an international firm.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and optimizing mechanical components and systems. This includes collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure the effective integration of mechanical designs with electrical software and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD etc..
- Conduct design analysis including stress thermal and fatigue analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Managers Electrical Engineers and other stakeholders to define system specifications.
- Perform design validation and testing to ensure designs meet required standards.
- Lead design reviews and provide support for manufacturing assembly and testing phases.
- Identify and resolve any design or manufacturing issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain thorough documentation of designs revisions and engineering changes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles materials and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Any additional certifications or qualifications as applicable.
