Job Description
Virginia Peninsula Community College is a twoyear institution of higher education established as a part of a statewide system of community colleges. It primarily serves the residents of the cities of Hampton Newport News Poquoson and Williamsburg and the counties of James City and York. This position is restricted and is funded through a grant and is subject to continuation based on fiscal year funds and the needs of the College. We change lives and transform our community through diverse inclusive and equitable education and workforce training excellent support and services and innovative partnerships. The Learning Resources Center LRC is an integral part of the academic units that report to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The LRC advances the mission of the college through a comprehensive readily accessible collection of VPCC curriculum related informational materials instructional technologies and other academic support services that meet the educational needs of students faculty and staff. Provides individual and small group instruction assistance and resources to currently enrolled students who encounter math related problems in their VPCC courses.
Work Schedule
MF Hours will vary between 8 am7 pm with a maximum of 29 hours per week.
