The Stores area creates the technical basis for efficient store processes by using the latest technologies. Our customers will be able to see the results of your work firsthand in all ALDI SOUTH stores worldwide. Our processes are increasingly moving to mobile devices to provide store associates with the most uptodate hardware and software support. To facilitate this strategic focus we are continually expanding our current team of experts.
Your Job
What you give your best for.
- Product evolution: Taking full accountability for the continuous improvement and development of ALDIs checkout systems and processes throughout their lifecycle
- Vision and strategy: Continuously reviewing and updating the product vision goals and strategy with a focus on enhancing checkout efficiency and the customer experience
- Market and user needs: Continuously assessing market trends user requirements and data to identify new business and product opportunities with a specific focus on the checkout process
- Stakeholder collaboration: Engaging with different internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise the most valuable requirements and features
- Workshops and alignment: Conducting collaborative workshops to outline the product vision goals and strategy ensuring that these are aligned with ALDIs business objectives and checkout improvement initiatives
- Backlog management: Overseeing the demand backlog for checkout systems including refining and prioritising requests
- Feature specification: Creating aligning refining and ordering product backlog items (e.g. demands epics user stories and requests) ensuring that the backlog is transparent and wellunderstood by all parties involved
Your Profile
What you should have.
- Product management expertise: Handson experience in product ownership or management particularly with regard to retail checkout or POS (pointofsale) systems
- Decisionmaking skills: Adept at making informed decisions in complex and evolving environments
- Domain understanding: Indepth knowledge of checkout processes and systems within a retail setting
- Technical acumen: Experience with checkout hardware components and troubleshooting POS systems
- Software skills: Ability to automate processes through scripting and tool development
- Monitoring experience: Familiarity with system monitoring and performance analysis
- Lifecycle Management: Understanding of lifecycle management for hardware solutions
- Communication and presentation: Excellent presentation negotiation and communication skills with the ability to convey technical and nontechnical information effectively
- Collaboration and networking: Strong ability to collaborate align and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders
- English proficiency: Businessfluent English skills
