Position Title: Production Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily operations in the food manufacturing plant. This leadership role ensures the safe efficient and highquality production of food products in accordance with production schedules safety standards quality requirements and sanitary guidelines while incorporating McCains MDI continuous improvement strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all production lines and ensure adherence to production schedules safety standards and product quality requirements.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and ensure team understands the importance of safety and employees perform work in accordance to safe work practices.
- Promotes a zeroincident culture by ensuring all employees adhere to safety standards and continuously foster a proactive approach to workplace safety.
- This position is responsible for all aspects of the food safety and quality program and ensures all product meets established food safety and quality requirements.
- Ensures that product specifications and requirements are met via quality specification control measurements.
- Effectively communicates daily work activities and assists and coaches employees in the performance of their work.
- Ensures production resources including materials equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain and meet production schedules.
- Ensure all daily manufacturing documents are completed and are accurate.
- Ensure that team members are working in accordance with established food safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate and display appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings which provides a positive influence on employees.
- Foster a culture of trust and collaboration in creating a winning culture and positive employee experience.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Fouryear degree from college or university and/ or five years of production experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Possess at least 2 years of production supervisory experience preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
- Able to adapt to changing production schedules and ensure resources are available on an adhoc basis.
- Standard computer skills necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and its application
- Ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Perform any/ all duties as directed by a manager within safe working/ operating conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ADA STATEMENT:
Able to lift 50 lbs. Stand for long periods of time walk bend stoop reach twist repeatedly. Wear PPE. Handle products in different temperature ranges.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- FullTime 45 hoursper week
- 12hour shift 223 working schedule
