Job Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Temporary Position: Duration of 4 to 6 months; not expected to become permanent unless production needs change.
- Shift: Primarily day shift (7 a.m. - 3 p.m.); off-shift coverage unlikely but possible if needed.
- Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred Experience: Manufacturing and mixer/blender experience preferred.
- Certification: Forklift certification required.
- Container Management:
- Move and organize empty 55-gallon and other packaging containers.
- Monitor inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
- Printing & Labeling:
- Operate and maintain label printers.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of labels and barcodes.
- Load/unload consumables; basic troubleshooting of equipment.
- Marking & Identification:
- Accurately mark stencil or label containers per specifications.
- Verify accuracy and legibility of markings.
- Maintain a clean and organized marking station.
- General Support:
- Assist with warehouse/production duties as needed.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and improvement initiatives.
- Adherence to 5S Principles: Maintain organized and efficient workspace (Sort Set in Order Shine Standardize Sustain).
