Emerald Youth Foundation has paid parttime positions available this school year starting as soon as August 4 2025 serving in their afterschool are available through the AmeriCorps program and a great opportunity to make a big difference in your life and in the lives of city young people in Knoxville. It is not employment but national service and if you have a practicum or internship to fulfill for school it can count towards that.
Benefits:
**Note: Applicants must be a certified U.S. citizen a national or legal permanent resident. Emerald Youth prefers applicants to be at least 18 years of age or turning 18 shortly after the start date. A high school diploma or GED is required prior to completion of the service term.

What is AmeriCorps

What is Emerald Youth
We are a Christian ministry serving city kids since 1991. Every year Emerald Youth serves more than 3000 children teens and young adults in the heart of Knoxville through faith learning and health programs. Emerald Youths AmeriCorps members serve in the afterschool and summer programs of JustLead.
