Job Description
- Maintaining and repairing guest rooms hotel facilities plant rooms and equipment ensuring a safe clean and welcoming environment
- Performing preventative maintenance and addressing curative repairs in a timely and guest-focused manner.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Supporting the team by reviewing guest feedback participating in improvement initiatives and sharing ideas during meetings and contributing to sustainability goals
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff to address urgent maintenance concerns
- Upholding safety standards including compliance with OH&S procedures correct use of PPE and following emergency protocols.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance tasks inspections and daily reports using hotel systems.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels residential buildings fixed plant or equipment systems.
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with guests colleagues and external partners
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated proactive and able to work independently
- Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts including weekends.
- A trade qualification is not required. You must have current working rights in Australia. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
