Job Description

Are you interested in working for one of Canadas most awarded distilleries makers of the topselling Georgian Bay Gin Smash and being a part of building our innovative new to world brands from the ground up Georgian Bay Spirit Co is currently looking for a Territory Sales Representative in Edmonton Alberta to represent our rapidly expanding portfolio of spirits and topselling craft cocktailsinacan in our brand family such as Gin Smash Wyatt Rose and Isla! Weve grown from a team of 2 to over 50 employees across Canada. Weve gone from experimenting with micro batches of gin to developing and shipping hundreds of thousands of liters of spirits a year at our distillery in Collingwood. While reporting to the Alberta Field Sales Manager the Edmonton Territory Sales Representative will be a key member of our Western Canada sales team.
What Youll Be Doing:
Manage a Portfolio & Grow our Brand Your sales responsibilities will cover a territory of Independent & Key Account retail liquor stores and a few On Premise accounts within the Northern Alberta area. You will act as an ambassador and be the face of our brand in this vast geographic territory. Will require some evening & weekend work occasional overnight travel.
Build Relationships By leveraging your existing relationships and establishing connections with new customers you will be able to create impactful initiatives that drive volume.
Focus on Results you will push to meet or exceed quarterly sales and distribution targets. All the planning in the world means nothing without followthrough and the ability to translate those plans into real world results. You will need to lead maintain and grow your territory through new distribution opportunities inventory management and executing sales programming.
Execute with Excellence we are a rapidly growing company in a fun and fastpaced industry so you will need to be efficient and organized to be successful. Having a sense of urgency will mean acting and getting things done!
Fact Based Selling using our sales data platform to gain insights from numbers such as sales history growth trends and store/category performance will help you to tell our story and achieve sales targets.

What you need:
1 2 years Alcohol beverage sales experience
A postsecondary degree
Alberta ProServe certificate
A valid drivers license & reliable vehicle
You reside within the Edmonton area
You know how to use excel and sales reporting tools to gather insights for fact
based selling.
You are organized ask great questions are a problem solver and show initiative.
