Job Summary
If you are a professional Junior Planning Engineer who are looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting role for you based in Mahindra world city Chennai India. In this position you will drive consistent worldclass material practices that drive consistency and excellence across our operations
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Responsible to prepare and support material plan for backlog and service level reporting.
- Preparing Quarterly Monthly Weekly & Daily production plan.
- Reviewing the scheduled sales orders and providing promise date by reviewing the material availability and production capacity
- Reviewing the shortages for work orders and expediting purchase team for arranging on time.
- Releasing Work orders to shop floor as per schedule.
- Expediting Warehouse for issuing Work orders and QC/QA for timely delivery of products from them to ensure on time delivery of valves to the customer.
- Review of planning when sales order specs drawings and BOMs were revised such review can result in addition/ modification of materials in Work order and shop planning as well.
- Maintain planning file for sales orders from entry to last valve delivery.
- Schedule plan for subcontract workorders for items which need to be sent for further process.
- Participate in Planningrelated Growth programs Strategic Plans and key Operations Plans.
- Implement Express Offer & Preferred Parts management
- Coordinate sales marketing customer service operations and procurement to establish a mature process for Ship from Stock & AssembletoOrder Products.
- Review product family trends manage mix and provide support to the site planning managers to establish root cause analysis for inventory or service issues.
You serve as a strategic partner to lead data analyse present provide solution. You serve as a change agent with excellent influencing skills across all organizational levels in a multicultural environment.
- Engineering with relevant planning and scheduling experience with total experience of Minimum of 2 years
- Good command on MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Good communications skills.
- Basic Finance and Costing Knowledge is preferred.
- Must be a dedicated & Selfmotivated and quick learner
- Must be Proficient in ERP systems and fourth shift and oracle are preferred.
- Bachelors degree or any equivalent in Mechanical Electrical Electronics Instrumentation Engineering or any related field
- Proficient in MS Office Suites such as MS Excel Word and PowerPoint
