Foodservice Sales ManagerPrepared Foods
Purpose and Scope/General Summary:We are looking for a Foodservice Sales Managerto joinour teamhere atJBS on our Prepared Foods Foodservice Sales team! This person willmaintain a good working relationship with key accounts to ensure increasedyear over yearsales growthand work cross functionally with other members of thebusiness unitsales team transportation teams claims and more!
Our ideal candidate will work from a home/remote office and must live near a major airport with the ability to travel to customers Corporate (Greeley CO) and other locations up to 50 of the time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new accounts that shows measurable sales growth.
- Use product and market knowledge to generate sales within designated territory.
- Contact with key accounts to discuss programs and products and ensure they align with company and customers strategic short term & longterm goals.
- Lead a team of sales representatives and empower growth and productivity.
- Build business strategies targeting accounts that drive sales.
- Responsible for updating customers concerning market and customer trends on a regular basis.
- Conduct product cutting and seminars as needed to demonstrate and merchandise the value of JBS products.
- Conduct regular visits to JBS operation facilities to stay abreast of current processes and procedures directly impacting the customer.
- Regular contact with JBS inside sale teams concerning on time deliveries offers bids contracts product shortages and sales order status.
- Provide weekly written recaps & updates to the sales & leadership team.
- Keep current on administrative duties and sales plans.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree preferred with a major in one of the following: Agri Business Meat Science Business Marketing Ag Econ or Animal Science
- Minimum 5 year or more previous experience in the meat industry strongly preferred
- 5 years of Foodservice Sales expereince required
- MUST have expereince in prepared foods sales this is
- National Account Sales expereince strongly preferred
- Excellent phone and strong presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable in an office environment.
- Willing to travel 75 required.
- Microsoft Office applications a must.
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the followingcompensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision Medical and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salaryrange of$155
- Incentive Pay:This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
