Job Title: Cloud Lead
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers in the development and deployment of scalable cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements define project scope and manage priorities.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design plan and implement cloudbased solutions that align with business requirements.
- Collaborate with cloud architecture team to adapt and implement the defined best practices.
- Develop and enforce best practices standards and policies for cloud operations and services.
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the cloud team and ensure timely resolution of any technical issues or escalations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews provide feedback and mentor team members for their professional growth.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure security and performance.
- Oversee the integration of cloud systems with existing onpremises infrastructure.
- Ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources and identify opportunities to optimize costs.
- Define and enforce security policies and controls to protect data and systems.
- Monitor and manage the performance availability and scalability of cloudbased services.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and mentor team members fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute cloud adaptation strategies.
Required Skills
- ITIL/ITSM certified with familiarity of cloud technologies Azure and AWS.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of cloud engineers.
- 5 years of experience working on development and production infrastructure.
- 5 years of experience with complex highperformance distributed systems in production.
- Strong knowledge in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Experience in Cloud Operations with Familiarity of cloud architecture infrastructure and services.
- Understanding of scripting languages like Python PowerShell or Golang.
- Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Azure DevOps GitLab CI CircleCI or similar.
- Understanding of infrastructure as code tools such as Azure Bicep /Terraform/ CloudFormation.
- Understanding of networking security and compliance in the cloud
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
