Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Teacher for our 23 year old program in Manhattan NY. This fulltime position offers a competitive salary of $50k$58k and requires state licensure to work with early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement ageappropriate lesson plans for 23 year old preschool students.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters childrens social emotional and cognitive development.
- Assess and document childrens progress communicating regularly with parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to early childhood education.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Valid NY State teaching license for early childhood education.
- Proven experience teaching preschool specifically with 23 year old children.
- Strong understanding of child development and ageappropriate teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
