Your tasks
- You deliver indepth analysis of the price and fundamental development of the global commodity markets to provide insights on future movements of price levels and spreads in the European commodity markets.
- You closely cooperate with Trading & Origination and Portfolio functions on developing and implementing commercial strategies.
- You provide advanced market analysis for assets or structured transactions through comprehensive scenario analysis to guide optimal Groupwide decision making.
- You lead initiatives to build and mature a large international energy customer portfolio as part of E.ONs transformation program.
- You analyze energy market data to identify highlevel trading opportunities including managing E.ONs group portfolio >200 TWh power & gas) through strategic hedging decisions and open position management in forward markets with a focus on long and midterm portfolio strategies.
- You take a leading role in the development of sophisticated trading models and strategies.
- You prepare detailed reports on trading performance and market analysis and present these to senior stakeholders including traders and board members.
Your profile
- Successfully completed university degree or comparable qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the European energy markets incommercial analytical or consulting role(s) including a minimum of 3 years in a senior role
- Strong commercial mindset with a strategic and analytical way of thinking demonstrating a high motivation to deliver significant commercial results.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to work within a highly motivated team and independently taking on significant responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in combination with assertiveness and engagement.
- Embracing opportunities to learn and develop yourself through working with colleagues across all of E.ONs operating regions
- Knowledge in Python is a plus.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English another European language is seen as a plus.
