Summary of the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join our Lubrizol Technology Operational Excellence team in India. In this role you will support Lubrizol Technologys Operational Excellence data visualization and reporting to enable databased projects and decisions.
The Technology Business Data Analyst plays a crucial role in creating analyzing and continuously improving dashboards and reports to support the global Technology organization information and data management along the design value stream needs. They work closely with stakeholders data users and technology teams to gather requirements assess data and implement effective visualization or reporting solutions. The Business Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring data visualization and reports are aligned with business objectives and enable efficient project work or decisions.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports to analyze Technology performance portfolio trends and additional metrics.
- Collaborate with Operational Excellence or Technology team stakeholders to understand their objectives and select the best reporting tools for data visualization solutions.
- Translate data into useful data visualizations that generate ability to drive data driven business decisions.
- Extract and structure data from SAP systems ensure data accuracy and integrity generate visualization and reports.
- Collaborate with other Analysts using similar tools from across the organization to share best practices to help drive Operational Excellence across Lubrizol.
- Pursue selfdevelopment/training opportunities to remain current with emerging lowcode/nocode business application technologies.
Requirements (education experience competencies and specific job requirements):
Education / Certification:
Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or a related technical field
Experience and Skills:
2 years of industry experience with
- Proven experience as a Business or Data Analyst or similar role with a strong understanding of data visualization and reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI Power Apps Power Automate Dataverse etc. or other lowcode/nocode platform.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP data mining tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Python.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex data systems or processes and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills needed to work with cross functional teams.
- An aptitude and interest for creating data and process insights that will drive data driven decisions.
- An aptitude and interest to improve organizational efficiency through process automation.
