Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Evaluate technologies and designs in relation to the critical infrastructure and service needs for external customers.
- Experience in configuring & hardening routers switches firewalls and VOIP
- Implement solutions that support customer visions and objectives.
- Participate in interprogram initiatives and discussions to resolve technical challenges
- Create and maintain documentation and training for engineering and NOC teams
- Experience with leading network vendors such as HP/HPE Cisco Juniper Arista F5
- In depth implementation and troubleshooting experience of IP networks.
- Knowledge of IP technologies such as Netflow TCP and UDP signaling ISIS OSPFv2 OSPFv3 iBGP eBGP MPLS Layer 3 VPNs Pseudowire Ethernet switching and EXU messaging.
- Define and implement best practices for network and capacity management.
- Identify areas of opportunity for automation and network optimization.
- Routinely perform proof of concepts and service trials while documenting system integration.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic fast paced teamoriented environment
- Travel as required for integration and test efforts (up to 40 with some foreign travel expected.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a cybersecurity team

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Top Secret / SCI security clearance required.
- DOD 8140 IAT3 or IASAE2 certification.
- Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic fast paced teamoriented environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience implementing and managing carrier grade network and network technologies such as Carrier Ethernet technologies.
- Ability to configure / operate GFE applications such as Manticore and Cracken security applications
- Experience in the configuration and implementation of Type1 encryption used in encryption of data in transit (KG family of encryptors).
- CCNP or equivalent vendor certification is preferred.
- Ability to plan implement verify and troubleshoot local and widearea enterprise networks.
- Strong enterprise network troubleshooting (Multicast Layer 2 Cisco IOS(s) IP routing BGP ISIS OSPF and EIGRP HSRP and physical layer issues (Ethernet Optical TDM).
- Experience with Agile development processes.
- TS/SCI security clearance w/CI Polygraph is highly desired.
