SUMMARY:
The The instructor Veterinary Biomedical Technology will help develop and implement a high quality Veterinary Biomedical Technology curriculum for undergraduate students. This is a ninemonth appointment with the opportunity for summer employment determined by student enrollment and need that will serve the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) in a nontenuretrack faculty position. Primary responsibilities will be teaching and service as needed by CASNR by the university and as required by accreditation agencies. The successful candidate will be expected to teach online and facetoface undergraduate courses help maintain a clean and safe environment at the A&MCommerce Vet Tech Center advise students regarding course and career choices and assist and provide leadership for CASNR with FFA and 4H service activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Currently Certified Veterinary Technician with willingness to obtain Texas Certification if not currently certified in Texas.
Experience in the veterinary industry as an LVT
Excellent ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken English).
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Valid drivers license
Licensed Veterinary Technician
