ATS Scientific Productsis searching for a Technical Support & Parts Specialist to support the daily operations through technical support & parts sales to our customers and service personnel for equipment manufactured by SP Scientific.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Degree or Certificate from approved two year college or technical school in related field five years related experience or equivalent education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information in a oneonone and small group situation to customers clients and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and comprehend instructions correspondence memos operating maintenance and procedure manuals. Effective writing skills to produce reports correspondence etc.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands such as operating hand tools power tools and moderate lifting may occasionally be required. Sitting standing walking stooping kneeling crouching and crawling. Use of hands to handle finger and feel objects. Use of hands to handle tools and controls. Use of arms and hands to climb and balance. Use of the following senses: sight (close distance color peripheral and depth perception) hearing talking taste and smell. Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally moving larger objects with assistance.
