Summer work opportunity
Alltnacriche
Salary: 14821 salary per annum plus accommodation
Contract: Fixed term: 2 June 2025 1 August 2025
Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Who we are:
Scripture Union Scotland is a national charity with around 120 staff and over 2200 volunteers. Our vision is to see every child and young person of Scotland exploring the Bible and responding to the significance of Jesus.
Our centres regularly host school groups participating in residential experiences youth groups enjoying weekend breaks and a variety of SU Holidays. Making the most of the stunning opportunities that Scotlands countryside affords we use outdoor activities to build relationships with young people enabling them to have fun develop new skills and work together.
We currently have a vacancy for a fixed term appointment during the summer at Alltnacriche.
Purpose:
Working as part of the House and Facilities team you will assist in all aspects of preparing and ensuring that the Centre is ready for its guests.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking applicants who enjoy working alongside others and who are committed to providing a high standard of guest service. Applicants for this post must be able to work on their own initiative.Some evening and weekend work may be .
The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure.
