Senior Architectural Technician in Hampshire
I am working with a wellestablished firm who are looking for a Senior Architectural Technician to join our growing technical team near Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a passion for creating highquality technical drawings for residential projects.
About the Role
As a Senior Architectural Technician you will play a key role in interpreting client briefs and producing detailed working drawings and technical documents in line with current legislation. The position also involves overseeing project delegation to team members managing timescales and ensuring quality control while liaising with clients and external stakeholders. This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression knowledge development and broadening your technical expertise within our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and compliant technical drawings for residential and mixeduse projects.
- Collaborate with clients and external consultants to meet project requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard of quality.
- Provide guidance to junior technicians and monitor project progress.
Skills and Attributes
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years UKbased experience working on residential or mixeduse projects for developer clients or national housebuilders.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building regulations with expertise in M4 (CAT 2 & 3 and NDSS.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is advantageous but not essential.
Salary will be based on experience and ability but is expected to be between/
