Job Description

Sales Development Representative

Sumo Logic is seeking a new Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) sales team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about pursuing a career in sales.

Role Overview: As an SDR you will play a critical role in our sales process and in the success of our ANZ sales team by proactively identifying nurturing and creating new opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Research identify and prospect new customers
  • Book outbound meetings through cold calls emails social outreach and networking
  • Engage with prospects including Csuite and directors to drive interest
  • Deliver targeted marketing content to prospects
  • Utilize a modern tech stack including 6Sense LinkedIn ZoomInfo Lusha Outreach etc.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute a joint territory planofattack identifying and targeting prospects with the right messaging at the right time

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 years of experience as an SDR preferably in a SaaS sales environment or similar sales roles (Sales BDR etc.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven track record in outbound lead generation and consistently overachieving quotas
  • Strong hunter mentality: selfmotivated proactive and able to take initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Wellorganized with strong followthrough and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment
  • Eagerness to learn grow and be coached
  • Genuine passion for technology and sales
  • Bachelors degree is a plus
