Now Hiring: Lead HSE Specialist
Role Overview: As the Lead HSSE Specialist Assurance and Risk) you will spearhead our clients global safety initiatives focusing on cultivating a culture of safety and compliance across international operations. This role is central to enhancing safety practices and ensuring adherence to global standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of safety culture strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify safety improvements.
- Collaborate with global teams to align safety practices with industry benchmarks.
- Report on safety performance to senior management.
- 10 years in HSSE roles within industries like Oil & Gas or Energy.
- Expertise in HSSE Management Systems and international safety standards.
- Relevant degree in Health Safety or Environmental Science.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong ISO Qualifications and background
Qualifications and Skills Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master s degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8 10 years of experience in HR management or a similar role, with expertise in due diligence or HR auditing. Regional Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices in Kenya and Tanzania.
