Job Summary:
The role involves developing a safe working environment planning and executing experiments analyzing results and preparing reports. It involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams maintaining lab equipment and ensuring adherence to ISO QMS and Calderys systems.
Responsibilities:
- Developing safe working environment
- Patent & Literature Review
- Design of experiments
- Planning and of Developmental work
- Good analysis of experimental results
- Documentation/Report preparation
- Presenting the work in global platform
- Interacting with cross functional departments global peers
- Application site visit
- Calibration and maintenance of Lab equipment
- Working in a team
- Adherence to ISO QMS Calderys systems
Requirements:
Essential:
B.Tech. in a Ceramic / Refractory Industry with Industrial experience or min. 5 years (Quality Control of basic bricks Magnesia carbon Alumina Magnesia carbon etc.
The incumbent should have proper mindset to carry out R&D work
- Knowledge in Ceramics and Refractories
- Exposure in steel plant
- Trouble shooting ability
- Knowledge in various refractory testing and characterization techniques
- Analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Knowledge in mineralogy crystallography and phase diagrams
- Knowledge in refractory property performance correlation and refractory installation
- Handson experience in various testing and characterization methods pertaining to refractories.
- Selfmotivated team player with orientation to do R&D work
- Proficiency in Microsoft document slides etc.
