The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the human resources functions within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR policies and procedures managing employee relations overseeing recruitment and onboarding and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The HR Manager plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting the organizations strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings candidate screening interviewing and selection.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries concerns and grievances.
- Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Implement and manage employee recognition and reward programs to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
- Performance Management:
- Develop and oversee performance management processes including performance appraisals goal setting and feedback.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performancerelated matters and development opportunities.
- Implement and monitor disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans as needed.
- Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop update and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and management.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on various HR topics including company policies compliance and professional skills.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage compensation and benefits programs including salary administration health benefits and retirement plans.
- Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits and address any related issues or inquiries.
- HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to track key performance indicators and trends.
- Use data to make informed decisions and recommendations to improve HR practices and organizational effectiveness.
- Organizational Development:
- Support organizational change initiatives and manage employee engagement activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with the organizations values and mission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (Masters degree or HR certification preferred).
- Experience in human resources or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws HR best practices and HRIS systems.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution performance management and employee relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g. HRIS payroll systems).
