Job Purpose:
TheManager Logistic Billingwill be responsible for the direct supervision and development of EMEAs billing departments to successfully complete their work and continually meet and exceed department goals. He / Shewill be responsible for regional oversight for Logistics service billing customs and tax fees for Marken shipments. The Manager Billing Services willdesign and implement an endtoend process to accommodate all elements of services charges including duties and taxes charges Internal/External queries Management incurred during Markens operations in respect of its clients. This includes identification reallocation and reconciliation processes together with assisting on the design and implementation of new systems and required processes. He/she will provide support to ensure the smooth running of the daily billing in accordance with the group guidelines.
Position will be officebased in Feltham UK.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively drive the billing process for the local team and prepare analyses as required
- Ensure invoices are timely accurate and complete in accordance with the customers / The companys guidelines and expectations
- Gather analyze and communicate monthly billing summaries and closing reports for management and client review as directed
- Oversee accuracy of job cost estimation and actuals vs revenue
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy
- Distribute team weekly responsibilities and address followup questions/requests (Internal & External)
- Analyze claims on invoices perform appropriate follow up on any issues or mistakes and resolving when necessary
- Ensure all client issues are resolved and addressed according to company policy in a timely manner
- Assist & support Finance in analyzing and reconciling customer revenue and cost and periodic audits and clean ups
- Write maintain correct and develop work instructions to ensure all billing associates are following the same process to improv & increase accuracy and efficiency
- Use problemsolving skills to develop solutions and procedures to improve workflow process
- Successfully onboard new accounts /clients & handover to the team
- Promote development and growth within the team
- Maintain a good team cohesion through verbal and written communications
- Manages direct reports: hires trains motivates and evaluates team members
Required Qualifications:
- Billing experience within a courier or logistics environment where cross border taxes are regularly incurred and often recharged
- Previous experience managing delivery across a range of functions with little direct management oversight
- Experience of incomplete record analysis
- Management experience
- Demonstrable experience of simultaneous delivery across a range of streams
