Job Description
RPO Recruitments client a reputable and well established multidisciplinary consulting firm in the Western Cape is currently on the lookout for a hardworking and committed Electrical Design Engineer or Technologist for their successful team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Compiling and preparing electrical design documentation for various building services projects (MV/LV reticulation lighting & small power requirements wireways for other services)
- Compiling or preparing electronic design documentation for various building services projects (CCTV access control intruder alarms fire detection PA/voice evacuation systems)
- Management and contract supervision of Building Services projects
- Report writing
- Compiling of technical specification and Bills of Quantities
- Preparing contract documentation
- Liaising with clients staff and other professionals from inception to handover phase
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in the electrical building services industry
- Proven experience working in the consulting engineering field
- Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration with ECSA or eligible to register professionally
- Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
