Web Developer & Search Innovation Specialist
Location: Hybrid / Cape Town
About our client: Our client team is redefining how companies deliver content experiences through innovative searchdriven web platforms. Their mission is to create engaging algorithmicallyoptimized and conversiondriven digital ecosystems that integrate cuttingedge search indexing strategies with dynamic animated web experiences.
This role is an opportunity to lead the development of innovative web and content systems like the Info Hub and circular website content systems crafting a new era of searchfueled interactive and engaging web experiences. The ideal candidate is a developer with a passion for web development search algorithms user engagement marketing technology and datadriven decisionmaking.
Over time this role has the potential to evolve into a CTOlevel position as they expand the software side of EVG360 into a distributed agentstyle business. The candidate must be adaptable able to navigate complex development ecosystems and work effectively within multiple stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead website development for the business and clients creating highconversion searchoptimized and visually compelling digital experiences.
- Build and optimize algorithmdriven searchfuelled functional websites that enhance content discoverability and engagement.
- Develop and maintain enterprisegrade security data hygiene practices and protocol adherence across all websites.
- Manage and integrate CRM systems (HubSpot Salesforce etc. into web platforms ensuring seamless data flow and user tracking.
- Oversee staging hosting and production environments ensuring smooth deployments and maintenance.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with marketing design and content teams to create interconnected highperformance digital ecosystems.
- Implement and manage Google Tag Manager tracking pixels and analytics integrations to optimize performance.
- Develop animated interactive web experiences leveraging HTML5 CSS JavaScript WebGL and 3D landing page technology.
- Work with search indexing algorithms SEO and structured data strategies to maximize organic reach and engagement.
- Analyze and optimize website performance ensuring fast load times accessibility compliance and user experience best practices.
- Assess and integrate thirdparty APIs plugins and marketing technologies to enhance site capabilities.
- Navigate and work within multiple development ecosystems including the businesss internal platforms and external client development teams.
- Make strategic recommendations for web improvements balancing immediate action items with longterm development planning.
- 5 years of experience in web development with a focus on searchdriven and marketingintegrated experiences.
- Expertise in WordPress Webflow and other CMS platforms with custom development capabilities.
- Strong experience in HTML5 CSS JavaScript WebGL and advanced animation libraries.
- Deep understanding of SEO Google search algorithms indexing and structured data (JSONLD schema markup etc..
- Experience with 3D web development and creating interactive animated web experiences.
- Strong knowledge of enterpriselevel security website architecture and data hygiene protocols.
- Experience with staging environments CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git Bitbucket etc..
- Familiarity with marketing technology stacks (HubSpot Salesforce Google Tag Manager Looker Studio etc..
- Ability to work in fastpaced iterative environments while maintaining highquality .
- Strong problemsolving skills curiosity and a passion for innovation in search content delivery and marketing integration.
- Experience with headless CMS architectures and Jamstack development.
- Knowledge of React Vue.js or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience working with AIdriven content personalization and dynamic search indexing.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures cloud hosting solutions (AWS GCP Azure).
- Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
