Schedule:Monday through Friday 8 am4:30pm with occasional evening and weekend work
Location:This position is 100 inperson located at 1560 Berger Drive. Presence at our other location on Senter Road may be required.
Travel:Local travel may be required up to 35 of the time.

Position Summary:
The Corpsmember Training and Education Coordinator leads their assigned department in developing a Corpsmember progression and identifying relevant skills for potential career pathways. The Coordinators primary responsibilities include curriculum development coordinating training and jobtraining educational opportunities instructing and leading programs and supervising Corpsmembers in implementation of training programs. The Coordinator is also responsible for tracking progress toward and ultimately meeting all goals relating to training and Corpsmembers development.
In addition to strong communication and organizational skills the Coordinator should also be able to maintain professionalism at all times while working with various department staff and external partners. Applicants should also be comfortable in taking a leadership role and have prior experience in training instruction education or public speaking.

Position may require prolonged sitting standing walking reaching twisting turning kneeling bending squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities. The position also requires grasping repetitive hand movement and fine coordination in using a computer keyboard. The incumbent may be required to drive a vehicle up to 35 of the time. The position may require the incumbent to occasionally lift up to 25lbs. Additionally the position requires far and near vision when driving reading and using a computer. Acute hearing is required when providing phone and personal service.The nature of the work may require the incumbent to work evenings weekends and holidays.Some of these requirements may be accommodated for otherwise qualified individuals requiring and requesting such accommodations.

Employment AtWill
The San Jose Conservation Corps Charter School is an AtWill employer. This means that employment with SJCCCS is voluntarily entered into and staff members are free to resign at any time. Similarly SJCCCS may terminate the employment relationship at any time with or without cause or prior notice as it deems appropriate. This atwill employment relationship can be changed only in a written agreement signed by the staff member and the Executive Director of SJCCCS.
**SJCCCS IS A MANDATORY COVID19 VACCINATION EMPLOYER**
All new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination absent an approved medical or religious exemption prior to their start date. If a new hire is in the process of being vaccinated their start date may be adjusted to a future date after they have been vaccinated. Fully vaccinated means at it has been at least two weeks since the person has completed the entire recommended initial series of a COVID19 vaccine.

Minimum Qualifications:
Driving Record and Requirements: If the position is offered and accepted candidates must submit a copy of their DMV drivers record. The candidate also must possess and continue to maintain a valid California Class C drivers license and a clean driving record.
Employment Eligibility: Federal law requires all employees to provide verification of their eligibility to work in the United States. Medical Verification: State law requires all employees working with youth to provide medical verification of negative tuberculosis test results within the last year. Employees will also be required to submit proof of COVID19 vaccination.
Background Check and Fingerprinting: If the position is offered and accepted candidates will be required to undergo Live Scan Fingerprinting as well as a background check which includes a criminal history records check.
Drug Screen: If the position is offered and accepted candidates will be required to undergo and pass a 5panel drug screen.
