Our Client company is Denmark based and they have impacted people around the world with thereproducts and services. As one of the worlds largest pharmaceutical wholesalersThere Repackaging unit is in Gandhidham.
Job Location: Ahmedabad
Job Profile:
The position will be Responsible for:
1. Ensures all logistics activities are in compliance with
Rules and Regulations SOPs instructions and all other applicable
procedures.
2. Issues Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to prequalified forwarders and
evaluates the same when quotes received.
3. Inserts freight budget on the quotations in AX and informs sales of
tendencies in the freight market. (Only for UNFPA)
4. Daily update of SOR.
5. Daily update of Transport Plan Compliance after following up with
Forwarder.
6. Preparing weekly reports (SOR Zambia SOR Unconfirmed Freight
POs Reason Code Missing Blank PO on Load Estimate Risk Transfer
Load Report Missing PO Report SCFI freight index Project Closing
Report Updating Power BI.
7. Preparing monthly reports (SOR KPI Forwarder Report Estimate Risk
Transfer)
8. Floating Freight RFQ to Forwarders and entering rates in RFQ sheet
saving in respective folder and in AX (Ritem) received from
Forwarder.
Also requesting QD for creation of new Ritem (if require).
9. Document upload in AX.
10. Update Transit Packing List update in AX.
11. Make Freight Invoices
12. Make of Freight Purchase Order
13. Documents dispatch to client and agent (Finding COA Making
COO/COI)
14. Informing concern LO about the goods arrival in Lynge W/H Goods
QC release.
15. Arranging & Filing of Hard copy & soft copy of BL
16. Matching COAs batch wise for Kandla orders.
17. Assist creating Labels in Nice Label
18. Any other duties or assignments as requested by the Head of Logistics
& IT or the Logistics Officers
Desired Candidates:
Education: Degree in Business Administration Logistics or related field.
Work experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a commercial organization at the international level in the transportation and insurance field preferably with ocean carriers freight forwarders or 100 exportoriented companies. Experience with cross trade is required.
