Job Description
Our Elementary Teachers impact students lives by:
- Delivering instruction in the classroom and raising student achievement
- Longterm unit planning and daily lesson planning
- Communicating with parents/guardians about student progress
- Quickly implementing feedback and goalsetting into lesson delivery
- Collaborating with teammates in gradelevel and subjectlevel teams
- Participating in the life of the school including student activities and events
- Maintaining a classroom culture conducive to student achievement
- Using data to track student achievement and to constantly improve practice
- Participating in daily weekly and quarterly meetings about student achievement
- Embodying advocating and operationalizing the mission vision and direction of the school
- Taking on other tasks as needed

- Possess Louisiana Teacher Certification or equivalent certification in another state (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit stand walk talk hear operate a computer and other office equipment reach with hands and arms and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
