Your role:
Global Relay requires an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join the Global Relay Artificial Intelligence (AI) Product Management team. The TPM will assumes product ownership of specific products/components/features of the AI product portfolio that are responsible for contributing to the overall companys AIenabled strategy ensuring seamless integration optimizing performance and driving innovation in alignment with market needs and customer requirements.
You will work closely with your agile team(s) including engineering and data scientists crossfunctional team(s) other Product team members UX and customers / customerfacing teams to deliver on the product roadmap driving new initiatives and impactful features through the development process. Your success will provide direct impact and value to our enterprise clients from many industries including finance insurance healthcare & energy.
Working with Product Management the Senior TPMs are responsible for delivering the product roadmap driving new products and features through the development process. They work closely with Product Managers to ensure roadmaps are clear prioritized achievable and aligned with strategy. Senior TPMs reliably deliver large and complex initiatives often involving multiple teams. They also lead the early requirement discovery and analysis work normally associated with Product Managers and break them down into releases epics user stories and acceptance criteria. They work closely with their Team Leads Architects and UI/UX to ensure high quality designs are produced. TPMs attend (often leading) daily standups and other agile ceremonies refine their teams backlog plan sprints accept completed stories monitor progress report status and manage key release activities including documentation and training.
Your responsibilities:
Working in a dynamic team environment the Senior TPM is responsible for:
- Delivery of AI Products/ components / features in alignment with strategy and the broader company roadmap
- Lead large complex initiatives from roadmap to delivery with minimal support & guidance from product managers
- Strong requirement elicitation analysis domain modelling use case modeling workflow design and documentation skills
- Recognized as a goto expert and natural leader within your product line
- Translate product roadmap initiatives and feature requests into models workflow diagrams epics user stories acceptance criteria and other suitable artifacts
- Understand the design business logic and technical architecture of their platform components and how those components interact with the rest of the platform
- Identify and coordinate crosscomponent dependencies throughout the development process
- Proven ability and success at presenting to the team the business Clevel and customer stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product Management Sales Support clients other TPMs to produce and manage their components backlog and contribute to the product roadmap
- Recognized as a goto expert and natural leader within your product line
- Collaborate with other TPMs Architects UI/UX and Team Leads to drive requirements through the design phase
- Facilitating daily standups backlog refinement sprint planning demos retrospectives and other team meetings with your agile team(s)
- Support Product Management Marketing Sales Provisioning Professional Services Technical Documentation Training and Technical Support throughout the release process with training documentation announcements and other release activities
About you:
- 6 years of experience as a technical program/product manager or product owner
- 3 years of handson experience with AI technologies. Your expertise covers areas like Machine Learning NLP and Generative AI
- Strong technical background with a degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical business and Clevel executives
- Strong requirement development & management skills (elicitation analysis use case modeling workflow documentation etc.
- Experience leading crossteam initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- Experience planning monitoring and reporting on project status for multiple initiatives/teams
- Experience with enterprise software and SoftwareAsAService (SaaS)
Nice to haves:
- Experience as a software developer/engineer
- Background in financial or legal industries brining valuable domainspecific insights and expertise to the team
- Experience implementing and overseeing APIs
- Experience with Data Reporting and Business Intelligence products and services
- Experience with large scale performance and scalability
Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbias pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise skills education and professional background.
The range below reflects the expected annual base salary which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy culture and values.
