JOB TITLE: Service Director

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fulltime40 hours/wk

SCHEDULED HOURS: MondayFriday 9AM5PM

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Service Director serves as a key member of the senior management team and plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the effectiveness of behavioral health programs within the organization. This position is designed for a dynamic leader who will provide strategic oversight and management for multiple programs ensuring highquality service delivery and positive client outcomes. The Service Director is responsible for risk management staff supervision program development and financial sustainability. By fostering collaboration and community partnerships the Service Director will enhance program visibility and responsiveness to the diverse needs of the populations served ultimately contributing to the overall mission and vision of CHR.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides operational and administrative oversight of multiple programs including monitoring performance attending to crises ensuring programs operate within budget expectation and ensuring compliance with contractual expectations funder expectations and licensing and accreditation requirements.
  • Offers clinical leadership and manages risk for programs overseen.
  • Monitors and oversees implementation sustainability coordination and fidelity of evidencebased treatments and measurementbased care.
  • Oversees recruitment selection hiring and performance evaluation in collaboration with program managers and Human Resources Department.
  • Facilitates and participates in team meetings case conferences supervision training critical incident reviews and other meetings as assigned.
  • Attends and participates in external collaborative and networking meetings as needed.
  • Directs quality improvement processes in assigned programs and participates actively in agency wide quality initiatives.
  • Participates actively in agency strategic planning processes and program development initiatives.
  • Maintains documentation in compliance with agency program licensing accreditation and/or funder standards.
  • Oversees facility maintenance vehicles and other agency properties as appropriate.
  • Oncall responsibilities as assigned/needed.
  • Additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: At minimum masters degree in a field related to behavioral health.

Experience: 510 years of relevant experience including experience with the population to be served within the service area and at least 5 years progressive management experience. Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: A valid CT DPH license as an independent practitioner (LCSW LMFT LPC Licensed Psychologist).

COMPENSATION*:

$92815.00/annually min and up commensurate upon experience.

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off relevant experience as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or signon incentives. (Please note for parttime positions this range would be prorated based on hours worked)
