Job Description
Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) has partnered with Angott Search Group to identify its next Chief Lending Officer (CLO). This strategic leader will oversee all lending functions and ensure alignment with the credit unions financial objectives strategic goals and regulatory compliance at both state and federal levels.
The ideal candidate will drive loan portfolio growth and product utilization by enhancing service levels expanding and differentiating lending products and leveraging technology to meet members evolving needs. With a focus on quality service convenience and value the CLO will play a key role in strengthening MSGCUs lending strategy while effectively managing collections and repayments.
Education:
- A Masters degree in Business Administration/Finance or related field and preferably an advanced degree or graduate banking school completion.
Experience:
- Eight or more years of senior management experience in the financial services industry preferably at a midsize to large financial institution with a background in consumer indirect mortgage and commercial lending.
- Eight or more years of experience as a loan officer experience as a real estate loan officer preferred.
