Job Description
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for a multinational pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. The Senior Legal Counsel will lead divestiture transactions contract manufacturing matters and highvalue contract negotiations. The successful candidate will provide legal guidance on M&A risk management and regulatory compliance while supporting the development of legal standards and templates. Proficiency in English is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide legal advice on divestments and contract manufacturing business matters.
- Lead M&A transactions including deal structuring contract drafting and negotiations.
- Identify and manage contractual risks and potential disputes with contract manufacturing business partners.
- Collaborate with Tax Regulatory IP IT and Legal teams.
- Oversee and manage external law firms for divestmentrelated cases.
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business needs.
- Supervise and manage projects independently fostering an open and collaborative legal environment.
- Qualified lawyer in at least one European jurisdiction with at least ten years of postqualification experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of civil law and contract law.
- Expertise in M&A and pharmaceutical agreements (including cGMP)
- Excellent analytical communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to drive projects and deliver against set timelines.
- Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus).
