Your Impact:

The Director of Enterprise Sales is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives in our Enterprise market segment and will focus on driving sales with businesses and organizations outside of the public safety sector. This is a team quotacarrying role on a startup within the organization where well move fast win our earliest customers and build repeatable sales motions.

Your leadership will have a direct impact on the growth of the Axon Enterprise team the development of your team and our success crushing revenue goals. Leading by example youll be a champion of our Operating Principles and foster a collaborative transparent inclusive sales environment.

Location: Remote in the Western United States with 33 Travel

What Youll Do:

  • Hire and develop a team of experienced Enterprise Account Executives
  • Consistently deliver against team revenue goals
  • Assist your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers needs and mapping them to the value of Axon Enterprise in navigating closing and expanding within strategic Retail accounts
  • Partner with Enterprise leadership to further define a successful and repeatable sales process
  • Understand the challenges facing the team and clear the way to allow for success
  • Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process efficiency and productivity

What You Bring:

  • 8 years of experience managing high performing software sales teams (preferably for a SaaS company)
  • 4 years of managing a Enterprise sales team within major or large accounts
  • Successful track record of 100 of quota achievement as a manager and individual contributor in Strategic sales
  • Previous experience recruiting retaining and developing a team from the ground up
  • High level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders think
  • Previous experience selling into Executive leadership (C and VP level)
  • Territory management and development experience
  • Strong teamoriented interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people and roles. Ability to build and coach territory team over time.
  • Technically savvy good problem solving and analytical skills and strong attention to detail. Not afraid to deepdive into operational daytoday.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities multitask and work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills the ability to communicate concisely.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 33

The Pay: The compensation for this role is made up of an uncapped commissions and a starting base pay between USD 113400 in the lowest geographic market and USD 181400 in the highest geographic market. On average the national commissions target for this role is USD 200000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as: experience training transferable skills work experience business needs and geographic market demands and often a combination of all these factors.
