Desirable Qualifications
Classroom and laboratory teaching experience encompassing the breadth of courses taught; Experience with educational technology (computer interactive video slides etc.; Experience using a variety of pedagogies and integrating educational technologies into classroom and laboratory instruction; Experience working with students of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds; and Education and related work experience in teaching physics and physical science.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters in physics astronomy or astrophysics; OR Bachelors in physics or astronomy and masters in engineering mathematics meteorology or geophysics; OR A valid California Community College Credential; OR The equivalent education and/or experience (requires an equivalency) . All candidates must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability gender identity sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
