The Dentistry Program is seeking a qualified and dynamic Faculty Member in Operative Dentistry / Biomaterials with a strong academic background a commitment to excellence in teaching a proven record of high-impact research and active engagement in community and professional service. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education participate in curriculum development academic advising research activities and fulfill any assigned administrative and academic responsibilities as directed by the Head of Program.
Deliver high-quality teaching in Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
Design and update course content to reflect current advances in dental education and practice.
Supervise and mentor students in clinical laboratory and research settings.
Engage in original research and scholarly activities with a track record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
Contribute to academic advising and student mentorship.
Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and administrative tasks.
Support and initiate community outreach health awareness campaigns and professional engagement activities.
Collaborate with faculty and researchers across disciplines to enhance academic and clinical programs.
Fulfill other academic responsibilities assigned by the program leadership.
Education:
License:
Valid classification as Senior Registrar or Consultant from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
Proven excellence in local and international research and publication.
Strong ability to conduct and lead high-quality research in the relevant specialty.
Demonstrated skills in teaching design course development and academic mentorship.
Effective oral and written communication skills in academic and clinical environments.
Proficiency in using educational technologies dashboards and computing systems.
Ability to provide academic leadership and contribute to the strategic goals of the program.
Strong presentation interpersonal and administrative skills.
